RUSPA Officine S.p.A. was founded in 1937 in Turin as a mechanic and engineering company: in that year Luigi Ruspa opened his first workshop for the design and construction of components for the automotive field.
Luigi's passion for mechanics goes back to the year 1925 when he won the legendary race Biella-Oropa on a Ruspa motorcycle.
After this first fateful victory, his commitment was to participate and to win the most important motorcycling competitions of that period and to produce and sell his motorcycles. A commitment which Luigi Ruspa has transformed into an industry that is still able today to maintain the enthusiasm and the willingness to face the challenge of his founder after 80 years
